Quando o projecto FLANZINE teve início, em Maio de 2013, tinha tudo para correr mal mas, contrariando as leis de Murphy e Keynes, a revista acabou por se materializar.
Uma revista inspirada nos velhos fanzines, idealizada no Facebook, por dois amigos virtuais, João Pedro Azul e Luis Olival, unidos na ressaca de uma geração que resiste, sobrevivendo através de humor negro. Com alguma ousadia, foram contagiando um conjunto de autores e artistas de diferentes quadrantes e linguagens que se foram juntando à FLANmília (literatura, ilustração, cinema, música, fotografia, poesia, teatro). O design retro de Filipa Campos encerra a santíssima trindade conceptual deste pudim cultural.
When the FLANZINE project began in May 2013, it had every chance of going wrong, but, contrary to the laws of Murphy and Keynes, the magazine eventually materialized.
A magazine inspired by the old fanzines, created on Facebook by two virtual friends, João Pedro Azul and Luís Olival, united in the hangover of a generation that resists, surviving through black humour. With some nerve, they infected a group of authors and artists in different fields and languages that started joining the FLANmily (literature, illustration, film, music, photography, poetry, theatre). The retro design by Filipa Campos closes the conceptual holy trinity of this cultural pudding.
